Tinka Whitening Face Series Review : Skincare For Teens
As long as I’m writing skincare reviews on this blog, I often get asked “since what age can skincare be used?” or “what is the best skincare for teenagers?”. Well, good news for all of you, because I just tried the Tinka Whitening Face Series which can be used from the age of 13!
Tinka is a local brand whose products are already BPOM, safe for all skin types and safe for pregnant and lactating women too. Tinka has a skincare line that claims to brighten the skin, namely the Tinka Whitening Face Series. In my opinion, this is really suitable for use with teenagers starting from the age of 13 because teenagers usually have dull skin, right?
I’ve been using all four products for two weeks, not all of them I use every day in AM or PM. I’ll explain why later. Let’s discuss the products one by one…
This product is a facial foam that can be used in the morning and evening as a second cleanser. The content of this product is quite a lot, even though you can use just a little, just the tip of your finger. So this product is very economical huh.
The texture of this product is a clear concentrated gel. I think it’s a bit difficult to emulsify because it’s too thick. My advice, just use a little and then add water. This is the type of facial soap that has a lot of foam, so even a little can still clean the whole face.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Butylene glycol, Dmdm hydantoin, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Cocamide DEA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Propylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Fragrance, Aqua
This product contains Niacinamide, Aloe Vera and Allantoin. Niacinamide functions to brighten the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. Aloe Vera can moisturize the skin. Meanwhile, Allantoin is a soothing ingredient that can make the skin soft.
After washing your face using this Tinka Whitening Facial Foam, the skin becomes soft but doesn’t feel dry. For those who like to finish the doormat after washing your face, you will definitely like this product.
This is my favorite product from Tinka Whitening Face Series! This toner is very practical to use because the applicator is a spray. The texture of this product is runny like water, so it’s really refreshing to use.
Disodium EDTA, Allantoin , Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, aqua, butylene glycol, arbutin, Citric Acid, Sodium sulfite, Acetyl Tyrosine, Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract, paeonia suffruticosa root extract, aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate, Glutathione/Honey, Phenoxynoethanolbacterium , Hamamelis Virginiana Extract, butylene glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, PropyleneGlycol, oryza sativa leaf extract, Ethanol, Fragrance , PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.
This product contains Niacinamide, Arbutin, Glutathione whose function is to brighten the skin. Oh yes, it is also important to note that this product contains an AHA, namely Citric Acid. Actually, if you don’t feel like you have a problem using AHA every day in the morning and evening, it’s okay. But if I use AHA too often, my skin becomes dry. The solution, I use this product in the morning with a schedule of 2 days of use and 1 day not.
Tinka Whitening Moist Day Cream
Actually I’m not the type of person who diligently uses moisturizer in the morning, the important thing is sunscreen. The reason is because the sunscreen is usually quite moist and before that I also layered toner and serum which were quite hydrating. But using Tinka Whitening Day Cream it doesn’t make me feel greasy. The texture is thick but still comfortable even when layered with sunscreen.
As the name suggests, this day cream is used in the morning. But because it doesn’t contain SPF yet, so you still have to layer it with sunscreen afterwards so that the skin is still protected.
Polyacrylamide, C13-14 isoparaffin, Laureth-7, aqua, Phenoxyethanol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Peg-20 stearate, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, Amylopectin, Dextrin, Xanthan gum, but Trayleneamic acid glycol, Licorice (Glycyrrbiza Glabra) Extract, Butylene Glycol, Arbutin, Citric Acid, Sodium sulfite, Acetyl Tyrosine, Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract, Paconia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphase, Scutellaria Baicalensis root extract, Glutathione, Niacin, Ethionyl Secretione , Broussonetia Kazinoki Root Extract, Acetyl Glucosamine, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica, Galactoarabinan, Ergosterol, Bisabolol, Fragrance
This product contains Salicylic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Licorice, Arbutin, Citric Acid, Glutathione, Niacinamide, Chamomile, Centella Asiatica and Bisabolol. If you look at the ingredients, it’s really good! There are many ingredients that have a function to brighten. But there are also those that can soothe skin rich in Chamomile and Centella Asiatica.
I use this product regularly in the morning for two weeks. Even though it has AHA and BHA, it’s still very safe to use every day on my skin. I don’t think it’s drying. He’s moist, it’s more emollient in my opinion. Unfortunately, he’s a bit difficult to level, so you have to go slowly and don’t be too harsh on him.
Tinka Luminous Whitening Night Cream
The last product from Tinka Whitening Face Series that I tried was the Night Cream. This Tinka Night Cream has a balm-like texture, so it’s really soft and makes the skin smooth. I usually use this product after using face oil. I think the moisture is still not enough if it’s not layered with face oil.
Cetearyl Alcohol, Peg-20 stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Myristate, Cyclopentasiloxane Petrolatum, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, Dmdm hydantoin, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 isoparaffin, Laureth-7, aqua, Niacinamide, Aloe Barbadensis Leafcol, Propylene Tranexamic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Arbutin, Citric Acid, Sodium Sulfite, Acetyl Tyrosine, Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Glutathione, Dimethicone, Licorice (Glycyney) Extract Filtrate, Phenoxyethanol, Bisabolol, Niacinamide, Broussonetia Kazinoki Root Extract, Acetyl Glucosamine, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, GalactoarabinanErgosterol, Fragrance.
Actually, the ingredients are almost the same as the day cream because it contains Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Arbutin, Citric Acid, Glutathione, Licorice, Bisabolol and Chamomile. But this product also contains Aloe Vera which can moisturize the skin.
So far I use this after face oil, it keeps my skin moisturized until morning. But it feels like there’s a layer of wax on the skin. When I wake up and wash my face, it feels really slippery. It’s like wearing a sleeping mask. But it’s okay because it doesn’t cause a negative reaction.
Like I said, I’ve been using this Tinka Whitening Face Series for two weeks. The most visible result is that the black acne scars (PIH) on my face are starting to fade.
This Tinka Whitening Face Series is perfect for those of you who are just starting skincare and are confused about combining from cleanser to moisturizer because there is already one package. For those who feel that their skin is dull, you might want to try this product because it has been proven to lighten and fade dark spots.
