By Salsabilla Kiranasafira – July 05, 2021
Did you know that yet Mia Glansie now it’s over rebranding become more fresh, beautiful, and authentic. Well after success rebranding, Mia Glansie released a new product, namely toner! The toner contains mainly fruits. There are three types of toners, Jamboe Teduh, Laboe Cinderela, and Alpokad Memikad.
Jamboe Teduh Essence Toner focuses on strengthening skin barriers. It contains Guava Extract, Ceramide, and Centella Asiatica. Meanwhile, Alpokad Memikad Essence Toner focuses on Acne Care. So it turns out that avocados have ingredients that can treat acne, I just found out that I’m honest. In addition, the Memikad Avocado variant also contains Salicylic Acid and Witch Hazel. I myself have tried the Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner.
Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner this is mild exfoliating toner. It contains AHA, BHA, Niacinamide, and Centella Asiatica. From the content, it’s really interesting, right? In addition, the concept of the Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner product is also interesting because it is very cute!
At first glance, the packaging of Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner is like boxed fruit juice, which you just need to stick with a straw and then slurp. It’s interesting because their concept uses ingredients from fruits, so the idea to make packaging like juice really fits.
Let’s start with the outer cardboard packaging, okay? So on the box there is an illustration of Pumpkin, which is the main star of this product. In this box there is also information on how to use it, benefits, composition, BPOM number, and there is a warning not to drink hihi.
I think this is the box very interesting and informative, very sell. People usually get tempted when they see this pretty packaging, including me haha. Then, the concept is the same as using fruits, like what I said earlier.
For the packaging bottles inside, use a clear plastic bottle with a sticker attached to the front and top. The concept of this clear bottle is good because it shows how much the product is and it really tastes great vibes fresh. This bottle of Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner is also not easy to leak and seep, so it’s safe. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the bottle is a bit lacking because the impression is not proper so. The bottle looks like an ordinary bottle with a sticker on it.
On the bottle body, again there is a warning not to drink. Very cute haha. Oh yes, the sticker attached to the bottle is almost the same design as the illustration on the outer cardboard. As for the lid, it’s a flip top model, so it’s not complicated to use because the lid won’t come off.
Enter one of the crucial and very interesting things to talk about, which is about the content of this Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner. So this product contains several exfoliators such as AHA and BHA, but also Cica which can soothe the skin. We will discuss one by one about the content.
- 5% Pumpkin Extract
So the pumpkin turned out to contain ingredients that can increase beta carotene. Beta carotene is used to regenerate dead skin cells
- 2% Mandelic Acid (AHA)
Mandelic Acid is a type of AHA whose function is to remove dead skin cells. This content can prevent the appearance of acne and fade dark spot
- 2% Niacinamide
You already know that this one content is multifunctional. Niacinamide can strengthen skin barrier but it can also function as brightening agent
- 5% Centella Asiatica
This skin-soothing ingredient has anti-inflammatory properties, making it perfect for combining with an exfoliator. This cica can make the skin calm after being beaten by exfoliating ingredients
- 2% Witch Hazel
Witch Hazel has antioxidant, antibacterial, and can soothe the skin. Actually, as far as I know, this ingredient is okay for acne-prone skin because it’s a natural ingredient gentle
- 2% Lactic Acid (AHA)
Besides Mandelic Acid, there is another type of AHA in Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner, namely Lactic Acid. This content also functions to remove dead skin cells
- 0.5% Salicylic Acid (BHA)
In addition to AHA, Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner also contains BHA, namely Salicylic Acid which is really good for dealing with acne and cleaning pores.
Textures & Scents
The texture of this product very liquid like water. Actually it feels a bit slippery when it hits the skin, so if you apply at least 2 or 3 layers, it feels a little hydrating. Oh yes, this Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner is clear orange, not deep orange.
For the real smell very faint, barely smelled. But it does have a bit of a scent. I’m not sure if it smells like pumpkin or not because I’ve never smelled it before.
Cause I’ve been using this for a long time more than two weeks, so I can conclude that this Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner is mild exfoliating a good toner to use every day (morning and evening). As long as I use this product, it doesn’t cause any negative reactions. I use it sometimes in one layer, sometimes in two layers. I usually use this product after cleansing toner. After using Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner, I immediately applied 2-3 layers hydrating toner.
As for how to use it, I’ve tried three ways, namely with cotton, directly by hand and for CSMan. Which one do I like the most? Honestly, I prefer to apply this Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner straight to hand. But I also like to use it for CSMan in the more textured skin area and it feels rough.
As a result, I feel like my skin is rarely grading anymore. Once, my chin area felt really rough and it was really textured, there were small pimples too. Finally, I used CSMan with Mia Glansie Laboe Cinderella Toner on the chin area, the next day the texture improved immediately. Then when I use this toner regularly (I used it for about a week in the morning and evening), the blackheads on my chin appear to come out like that. Take it, just pull it with tweezers, really cool!
