1. Rice Powder and Yogurt Body Scrub:
Rice powder helps to keep your skin smooth and bright. If you have an acne problem it helps to reduce the appearance.
Yoghurt is enriched with lactic acid and it is a natural alpha hydroxy acid, that helps to exfoliate your skin to give it a smoother texture.
Rice and yoghurt are amazing home ingredients for our skin. This scrub will remove all the dust and dead skin cells and make your full body whiten and lighten.
Ingredients: Three tablespoons of rice powder, one-two teaspoons of yoghurt, and one teaspoon of beetroot juice.
Method: Combine all ingredients and make a thick paste. Now apply this paste to your body.
2. Oats and Honey Body Scrub:
Oatmeal scrub removes dead skin cells and gives smooth and vibrant skin. Honey helps to moisturize and heal your skin. Mix it with oats will give you healthy, glowing, and clear skin.
Ingredients: Half cup of oats and one tablespoon of honey or glycerin.
Method: To prepare the oats to scrub, first grind the oatmeal using a blender, small food processor, or coffee grinder.
3. Moringa (Drumstick) Body Scrub:
The Moringa contains many vitamins and antioxidants, which are very good for your healthy skin. Moringa scrub helps to remove dead skin cells, acne scars, and blackheads. It stimulates your skin and gives clear skin. From the first use of this scrub, you will feel clean, soft, and smooth skin.
Ingredients: One Tbsp of Moringa powder, one teaspoon of honey, one tablespoon of coconut oil, and two tablespoons of brown sugar.
Method: Mix all the ingredients well. Now your Moringa body scrub is ready to use.

4. Coffee Body Scrub:
Coffee is very effective for exfoliates your skin. Unlike other DIY body scrubs, coffee body scrub does not dry out the skin. It helps to keep your skin hydrated, moisturized, and nourished.
Ingredients: Half a cup of fresh coffee and two tablespoons of coconut oil.
Method: Take coffee and coconut oil in a bowl. Mix it well together.
Gently rub the mixture over your body.
If your skin is very oily, you can use aloe Vera gel instead of coconut oil.
5. Aloe Vera and Cucumber Body Scrub:
Aloe Vera is a versatile plant ingredient that is also used in homemade products for its remedial purposes. It contains powerful antioxidants that help in cleansing and exfoliating. Aloe Vera Body Scrub helps to calm oily skin.
Cucumber can reduce swelling of the skin. It also helps to make your skin healthy and glowing.
Ingredients: Two tablespoons of aloe vera gel, one tablespoon of blended cucumber juice, four tablespoons of sugar, and few drops of lemon juice.
Method: Cut the cucumber into small pieces and blend it. After blending, keep it aside.
Now take sugar in a bowl. Add aloe Vera gel, cucumber juice, and a few drops of lemon juice to it. Then mix everything well. Now this body scrub is ready to use.
6. Coffee and Sugar Body Scrub:
Coffee is rich in antioxidants which prevent premature ageing of your skin. It tones the skin and reduces puffiness. Sugar present in this mixture acts as an exfoliator which helps in getting rid of dead skin.
Olive oil hydrates your skin and makes it soft.
Ingredients: Half cup of ground coffee, half cup of sugar, 2tbsp of olive oil, and 1-2 Vitamin E Capsule.
Method: Mix all the ingredients well. Apply this paste to your skin. Now massage your skin in a circular motion. After that, wash off this scrub with lukewarm water.
How to Use Body Scrub
Take a bath or shower with lukewarm water to open up your pores.
- Take enough quantity of scrub in your palm. Apply it using mild pressure in a circular motion.
- Start applying scrub with your feet and then move upwards.
- Now scrub gently. (avoid scrubbing your skin with pressure)
- It should take only 3-4 minutes to exfoliate your entire body. (Focusing more on the knees, elbows, and neck)
- Rinse it with warm water.
- Apply body oil or lotion to close the open pores.
Note: Avoid scrubbing in areas where you have skin lesions or existing irritation.
