Best Skin Lightening Face Masks Recipes:-
1. Banana and Yogurt Face Mask
A banana face mask helps to lighten and whiten skin tone. It has potassium and vitamins E, and C which makes your skin smooth and glowing. Reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots. Yoghurt helps to tighten pores. It works as an exfoliation on your skin to remove dullness and dead skin cells.
One banana, two tbsp of yoghurt, 2 tsp of honey, and half tsp of rose water (optional).
Mash banana in a bowl. Add yoghurt, honey, and rose water to it. Mix well to form a smooth paste. Apply on your face and neck. Let it dry for 15 – 20 minutes. Once dried, wash with water. Repeat 3 times a week for 3 – 4 months for best results.
2. Yogurt and Orange Juice Face Mask
Yoghurt helps to make the skin lighten and whitening because it contains vitamin B12, which lightens the skin complexion. If you apply yoghurt on your face regularly, then it helps to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads.
Two tbsp of yoghurt, and 4 tsp of orange juice or lemon juice.
Take yoghurt in a bowl. Add orange juice. Mix the ingredients well. Apply on your face and neck. Let it dry. Once dried, wash with water. Repeat 3 times a week.
3. Boiled Milk and Turmeric Face Mask
Milk contains lactic acid, which is known to lighten the skin. It also contains fatty acids, which nourish and moisturize the skin. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to get rid of acne and acne scars.
Two tbsp of boiled milk, and 1 pinch turmeric.
Take boiled milk and turmeric. Mix the ingredients well. Apply on your face and neck. Leave it for few minutes. Wash off with water. Repeat this face mask twice a week.
4. Lemon Juice and Honey Face Mask
Lemon Face Mask definitely helps in making the skin light and glowing. Lemon juice has vitamin C, which reduces melanin.
Honey is another great home ingredient for skin lightening and brightening.
Two tbsp of honey, and two tbsp of lemon juice.
Mix the ingredients well. Apply on your face and massage it for a few minutes with the help of your fingertips. Leave the mask dry. Wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat it 3 times a week.
Important Note: Lemon is citrus fruit. Citrus fruits contain some chemicals. If you apply lemon juice, do not go into the sun immediately. Whenever you apply any citrus fruits on your face, wait at least 2 hours.
5. Baking Soda and Lemon Juice Face Mask
Baking Soda works as an exfoliation that removes the dead skin on your face. Baking Soda will make your skin whiter, lighten, and shinier.
You can use this as an instant face pack because it gives instant results.
One tbsp of baking soda, and half lemon.
Take half lemon and dip it in baking soda. Now scrub the lemon on the face for 2 minutes. Then wash it with water. Do it only when needed.
6. Milk and Honey Face Mask
Milk and honey face mask is a perfect face mask for skin lightening. Both contain antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. If you use milk and honey daily as a face wash, they can help keep your skin healthy and clear.
Two tbsp of Milk, and one tbsp of Honey.
Mix honey and milk. Apply this mixture to your face after cleansing your face. Leave it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.
7. Egg and Yogurt Face Mask
Egg Yolk face mask gives you instant and amazing results. Egg-yolk works wonders for dry or flaky skin. It hydrates, nourishes, and moisturizes your dull skin.
One tbsp of yoghurt, and two egg yolk.
Take yoghurt with egg yolk in a bowl and mix it well. Apply it to the face and neck. Leave it for 10 – 15 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water and get lighten the skin.
8. Tomato and Wheat Flour Face Mask
Tomato contains a high amount of vitamin C, which is known to brighten and lighten the skin. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which is a red carotene and carotenoid pigment. It is wonderful for the skin and body. The cause of age spots, freckles, and tanning is melanin. Lycopene prevents and balances out the production of melanin. This face mask makes your skin youthful and healthy.
Three tbsp of tomato juice, and two tbsp of Wheat flour.
Take one tomato and cut it into small pieces. Then put it all in a food processor or blender and grind it. Now In a bowl, take tomato juice and mix it with wheat flour. Mix it and apply it to your face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes. Wash this mask with lukewarm water. Apply this mask 2 – 3 times a week for a great for best result.
